10:10 and counting...

So the Climate Camp is occupying Blackheath in London, I'm about to hop on my bicycle to cruise the streets as part of Critical Mass and on Tuesday the major '10:10' campaign launches - to cut carbon emissions by 10% in 2010 - courtesy of my mates at the Age of Stupid.

Be there outside Tate Modern from 4pm to show your support and get onboard, as well as claiming your unique 10:10 charm made from a recycled plane!

Air miles? No thanks!

I've been venting some spleen on the Guardian Ethical Living blog again with a post about the increasingly odd ways you can now earn air miles - up to 750 for your old mobile phone for instance...and suggesting alternative things you might do with your old handset...including entering the World Mobile Phone Throwing Championships which are held, of course in the home of Nokia, Finland - Fineland!

Check out the blog here.
